this project improved my ability to combine animation timing, set design, and conceptual storytelling with a distinct tone of dark humor.
Good Morning
Animation Basics Course, Shenkar college, second year / 2024
A 6-second stop-motion short film: We were asked to create a 6 seconda stop motion animated movie with the title “good morning” . I had a thought exploring dark humor through a literal twist on the everyday phrase “good morning.”
Process:
I designed the set and characters using plasteline and simple objects then animated the miniature hospital and character models using stop-motion.
after animating I drew over the frames in photoshop to smooth it out (this was also inspired by Arcane)
